001. Standard role play etiquette applies ( no godmodding, killing off of characters without plotting, etc. ) and please note this is a private blog. If you followed my old blog, you may recall that it was semi-selective. Due to my current schedule with work, family situations, and trying to maintain a life, I felt this change was best for me personally. Please be respectful of my mutuals only decision. 002. My ask box will be available to everyone, regardless of whether or not I am following you! Zelda loves getting questions and discussing certain topics, especially if it is a subject she is fond of! All I ask is that you do not turn the ask into a thread if I do not follow you back. In the off chance that I answer via ask instead of a new post and you wish to continue a response, please move your reply to a new post to keep things from getting messy. Additionally, my discord will be available for mutuals, so feel free to reach out for my information if I’m following you back! 003. Mun is 25+, which means there is a chance NSFW content will appear on this blog (such as gore/trauma and possibly smut). NSFW content aside, I will not interact with anyone under the age of 18 regardless of SFW status. Please do not lie about your age. If I find out you are doing so, your account will be blocked without warning or hesitation. 004. For the most part, I am not a stickler on formatting. You are more than welcomed to use whatever formatting you please. As for me, I tend to use icons (unless I am away from my computer) with a mix of bold, italicized, and colored text. The only real formatting requirement I’m going to ask of you is that you are cutting your posts. And as previously mentioned, if I do answer via ask (instead of a separate post) and you wish to continue, please move the reply to a new post. 005. i personally do not have any triggers. I will, however, tag the basic issues that come to mind (blood, nsfw, etc). If there are any additional triggers I need to tag, please feel free to reach out to me and let me know! All triggers will be tagged as 'trigger tw' or 'trigger cw.' 006. Please do NOT spam me with reminders about replies. Nine times out of ten I have it drafted and waiting to be written. I did not forget about you or your reply (this was another factor that influenced my decision to switch to selective/private). You are allowed to send me the occasional reminder, but please do not send me multiple messages in a week (much less a day) regarding your reply! I will occasionally make a post to ensure I am current on or at least monitoring all my active threads, so that would be a great time to check in with me! 007. This is a multi-ship blog, and honestly I do not ever see that changing, just so we are clear. It is also important to note that shipping on this blog will be chemistry based. I love shipping (romantic, familial, platonic, give me all the ships), and if you ship it there's a 95% chance I already ship it too! But chemistry is still a necessity (and I tend to prefer shipping with muns I am comfortable with/talk to regularly)! In the off chance that I do not agree with the ship, please be accepting of that. Characters are allowed to pine after another/have unrequited love, but do not try to force me into a ship if I have already said I don't see it. This type of action will result in a block. 008. I am all for crossovers! Some of my favorite role plays have involved crossovers! Shoot me a message and I would be more than happy to discuss something with you to see if we can make things work! My only hesitancies will be in regards to fandoms I am unfamiliar with (if you only write characters from fandoms I do not recognize, I will admittedly be hesitant to follow back). We can still discuss things and try to make it work, but I may be more inclined to turn down a crossover if I am unfamiliar with the fandom. 009. Thank you for taking the time to read my rules! I have been role playing for 15+ years, and I’ve been role playing on tumblr for probably half that time. I should confess that I have not completed all the games in the LoZ franchise, but I do have a vast amount of knowledge on the games I role play Zelda from along with a couple others not being portrayed. In general, I know enough about majority of the games that I should be able to follow along fairly well with any character from the franchise, but I have no issue with further educating myself on timelines and game play if needed!( template made by @poohsources )

biographies
ocarina of time zelda Zelda is described by most as a kind and just ruler, having an unrivaled love and loyalty to her kingdom and its people. She wants nothing more than to see her kingdom and the outer provinces of Hyrule flourish, which includes the other races that call Hyrule their home. Her goal as princess and future queen is to unify the provinces and those that live in them, so that there may be peace amongst all the races. If all that live in Hyrule are able to prosper as a direct result of her time on the throne, then she will consider her reign a success.Being the bearer of the Triforce of Wisdom, many would deem her wise beyond her years due to her vast knowledge. Ever since she was a little girl, her education was considered a high priority. She always had the best tutors, most of whom were impressed by her ability to pickup new subjects so quickly (likely a result of the Triforce, unbeknownst to Zelda and everyone else), and she would spend hours in lesson plans that expanded a wide variety of fields – from art to history or language -- and many other topics of culture and scholarship. While this meant she had very few opportunities for socialization with children her age, her knowledge was meant to prepare her to one day rule a kingdom and lead its people to greatness.Zelda is one to find beauty in all things, and she has a high appreciation for nature and the arts. Having always had a love for music, she learned to play the Ocarina at a young age – the first composition she ever learned being a lullaby that had been passed down through the royal family. It wasn’t until she went into hiding, under the watchful eye of her nursemaid, Impa, that she began practicing with a lyre, having given up her own Ocarina (the Ocarina of Time) to Link during their escape. Aside from music, Zelda dabbled in the art of painting, a skill that was deemed important during her lessons as a girl, though she had to give up the hobby when she underwent the guise of a Sheikah, having no time to practice the art when she had training that was far more crucial to the plan to save Hyrule. Once Ganondorf is sealed, she is allowed to return to some sense of normalcy. When not working with the arts or spending time reading or ruling a kingdom, she prefers to spend her time outdoors, the palace gardens being a sort of safe haven for the female.Though the kingdom is deemed “safe” now that Ganon has been sealed away by the sages, Zelda has never let her guard down. She retained the ways of the Sheikah, a part of her that would be hard to let go after all she had been through. She is very guarded in her actions, always staying vigilant and conveying a great degree of caution when dealing with those not inside her trusted inner circle. While she generally comes off as warm and amiable, the years where Hyrule suffered under Ganon’s reign affected her far more than anyone could ever imagine. This, at times, can make her seem wary, closed off, or distant.
twilight princess zelda Being associated with the Triforce of Wisdom and Goddess Nayru, Zelda possesses both keen insight and good judgement. Just like her predecessors, she is a merciful and just ruler, having an unrivaled love and loyalty to her kingdom and its people, which she would do anything to protect. She would willingly lay down her life for the province in the same way she would for those closest to her, and she does her best to offer aid to all in the land, not just the Hylians.Being the bearer of the Triforce of Wisdom, many would deem her wise beyond her years due to her vast knowledge, which certainly holds true. As is typical of the princesses, her education was a high priority. Her father made certain to hire the best tutors before his passing - something the court members continued to oversee after his death - and she would spend hours in lesson plans that expanded a wide variety of fields – from art to history or language and many other topics of culture and scholarship. Though there are many aspects to a ruler, her father thought it best that his daughter be literate and well-educated prior to taking her rightful claim to the throne. Learning was a skill that always came with ease.Though more of a realist than some of her ancestors, she is still capable of seeing beauty in all situations, even finding herself a bit mesmerized at times when Hyrule is cloaked in Twilight, a realm that differs drastically from the world she rules in. When she entered her teenage years, her lessons grew, which allowed her to pick an instrument of her choosing, have settled for the piano. It was a beautiful instrument capable of making the sweetest and most melodic sounds, which instantly captivated her. Though her lessons often focused on art, she instead found herself more drawn to pastimes such as dancing or baking – her love for the culinary arts having come from all the time she spent in the kitchen with her mother when she was a little girl. Despite the fact that they had plenty of chefs to make whatever their hearts desired, every holiday and many weekends during the spring, Zelda often found herself baking a pie or some other pastry with her mother – a means of bonding for the pair. Doing so has provided memories for the princess to cherish after the loss of her mother. While dance lessons started from a young age (a necessary skill for balls and other special occasions that were to be held in the kingdom), the fencing and archery didn’t come until she was older. Her father was a hunter, often saddling up with his men to venture out and see what game they may stumble upon. While Zelda was never a fan of the sport, she had a strong desire to pick up the skill set, something that would allow her to better relate to her father. As for the fencing, she doesn’t quite remember where the drive to learn came from, but it wasn’t long before she was determined to master the trade, wanting to prove herself just as capable as the men in the Hyrulean army.
hyrule warriors zelda Ever since she was a small child, there was something that set Zelda apart from most children, especially when it came to royal standards. She was deemed wise beyond her years since she was a little girl, her learning coming with ease as she excelled in all fields of study - a feat that her tutors found astounding (little did they know that she would later discover her association with the Triforce of Wisdom and the Goddess Nayru). Though her studies came with ease, she seemed to express little interest in topics such as art and language. The history of Hyrule was only interesting when relevant and deemed a necessity by the princess, but overall such topics were thought to be a bore. This realization was a surprise to both her tutors and members of the court given how well she seemed to excel. Still, even at a young age, Zelda seemed to have her sight set on other fields of interest.Growing up, she knew she would one day claim the throne and its crown as her own, but even this offered little excitement for the young princess. Though she did have an unrivaled love and loytalty to the Kingdom of Hyrule and its people, she always held a preference for protecting the land and its inhabitants rather than ruling it. She would lay down her life for the kingdom and the people that resided in it as easily as she would for those closest to her, but the politics and affairs of the kingdom were a thing done less willingly. As she grew older, she accepted this role more so out of a lack of belief that someone could do the job as efficiently as she - she'd always wanted to see the land and its people prosper, which included the other races such as the Zora and Gorons.Immediately recognizing the difference between Zelda and other girls their age, her Sheikah bodyguard, Impa, took it upon herself to train the princess so that she may indulge in the thing she desired most. Though the lessons of stealth and hand-to-hand combat began in secret, it was eventually hard to disguise or deny the skill the princess possessed as she excelled over time. What started with kunai knives progressed into archery and fencing as the girls grew older, leaving the Sheikah with no choice but to confess her actions to the king, believing it better to be honest and upfront with his majesty before the two were caught and scolded for partaking in such affairs in secret. Though her father was infuriated by this news, Zelda stepped forward to request her father give her a chance to prove herself, even going so far as to bargain that if she lacked proficiency in the way of the blade and combat, she would never pick up another rapier or bow so long as she lived.Needless to say, her father was dumbfounded by the skill his daughter possessed. Eventually, she approached him with a new appeal - allow her to take over as the supreme leader of the Hyrulean Forces. Of course the king was against the idea, which prompted Zelda to make a new wager - if she out performed and maneuvered all the men in the Hylian army, she was to become the supreme leader; if she lost then she was never to set foot on a battlefield. Once again, it should go without saying that Zelda came out as victor of her challenge, forcing her father to begrudgingly comply to her request under a new set of terms - an action that was not unlike the king. He would allow her to become the leader of the Hyrulean Forces so long as she continued with some aspect of her studies. This new agreement is part of the reason she plays the lyre with such skill and grace to this very day. Additionally, it is how she eventually learned to master the ability to conduct the Wind Waker.
